Three Night Stop Over

Booked through the Caravan and Motorhome Club for three nights commencing 2 September. Most of the facilities have been shut down including toilets, showers and dishwashing. As a disabled person the facilities are very poor. We were allocated Pitch 140 near the toilets and showers which meant it was only 10 metres away from our Motorhome. The following day these facilities were permanently shut, even though the site doesn't close until the 10 September. The nearest toilet and shower block is 200 metres away. We spoke to the Manager on site but no joy and we were told they could not move our Motorhome either to be nearer facilities. The shop and restaurant are only open for short periods of time. In effect the site is closed but happy to charge us normal fees. We contacted the Caravan and Motorhome Club Overseas department for help and we were told they could not help us but would email the overseas site team. If anyone is the thinking of using this site during the last week of August or the first week in September I would think again. The saving grace is that Saint Aubin Sur Mer has restaurants and shops. These are currently open. The staff at Cote de Nacre need customer service training. If customers are treated properly and provided with the basic facilities they would return. It's a shame as this site has so much going for it, although it is looking a tad tired. We'll see what response we will get from the Overseas Site Team!!! We still have two days left here!!!
