Pleasant stay

We enjoyed our stay at Lazy Rancho. We particularly liked the way Stefan moved and sited our caravan for us - just so easy! We had a comfort pitch with water and drainage. The pitch was excellent, if a bit too open for our taste. The view, though, was magnificent. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The site was quite busy when we were there but was still relatively quiet. The overall impression was of good organisation. Toilets and showers were always very clean although chemical disposal facility was not as discreet as we are used to. Overall a great base for exploring the beautiful countryside.

Excelllent, excellent, excellent!!

Stayed here for 7 nights in June 2017. This is a fantastic site. Aline and Stefan are incredibly helpful and informative (and patient!!). Fantastic views from the site. Aline very patiently explained the Jungfrau travel pass information to us - twice!! You have to buy the pass from the Interlaken train station and I felt they would not have given anything like the amount of information Aline was able to give us. We opted for the 3-day pass as they are very expensive (CHF 180 per person) and also bought the additional pass to the top of the Jungfraujoch (CHF 61 per person). We knew Switzerland was expensive but were still rather shocked at the cost but felt it had to be done!! HOWEVER, we had the most amazing time and absolutely no regrets. The pass had to be used on consecutive days so you need to be prepared for a lot of travelling but it is all worth it!! Jungfraujoch was amazing and we had fantastic weather. I think Grindelwald and First were my favourite though - the First Cliff Walk was an experience and there is a lovely cafe at First where you are just sitting in amongst the mountains!! So all in all when you think of the experiences you are gaining it is really good value for money!!! As you are staying on site you get a ticket to use the local bus service for free which was also very useful.

Broons on tour

Booked in for 4 nights in June, stayed an extra night. Magnificent setting, awesome views of Eiger, Jungfrau, etc. Splendid reception from very friendly owners who pointed us at several places to visit by bike, bus , train. We had already visited the area before and this time got a completely different perspective. Campsite cannot be faulted, once you get to grips with Swiss prices! Perfect location no matter what age you are. If you are coming to this area stay here!

We will be back!

Arrived at Camping Lazy Rancho, welcomed by Aline and site well explained then guided to good sized pitch by Stefan. What amazing views to the Eiger Monch and Jungfrau from the site. Facilities in  toilet blocks are immaculate and well maintained, washing area is always spotlessly clean and laundry area/kitchen kept immaculately clean. The site has a well stocked shop and orders bread and rolls for the following day which are superb. Aline provided us with maps and information about the local area along with a local travel and discount card. The site is very quiet and peaceful with a small well kept swimming pool. Hot tub and sauna are also available to book. Local bus service is a 500 m stroll and gives access to both rail stations. A walk in the opposite direction can take you to pier for cruise on Lake Thun. There is so much to do in the area that we will be back to Interlaken - Camping Lazy Rancho will be the site we will stay at on our return.

Excellent site

We can only confirm what other reviewers have said about this site. The welcome and friendliness of the staff is is amazing and the location just fantastic. Without asking we were given help with pitching up to make sure we were level which was appreciated after a long journey. The tourist card handed out on arrival was much appreciated and this enables l ed us to ride free on local buses as well as giving discounts on some attractions. The weather whilst we were there was perfect, and the views for the site were truly awesome.

The Bruces - 6 nights in July 16

We thought the welcome was very special, Ailine & Stephen ( forgive my memory if I got that wrong) , because as well as a lovely introduction it lead to  positioning us and fellow guests onto pitches. We were hammered with rain for the first couple of days, the grass is great , lush and no PUDDLING, believe me the weather tested the  drainage. We recommend the site for the wonderful area and walking trails which encourage you up the cable cars to experience summer alpine meadows , waterfalls etc, There is a bus  5 mins away, which is free, it takes you to Interlaken in 5 mins

Top class campsite on the edge of Interlaken

We were on a tour of Europe with Interlaken as our main stay. Lazy Rancho didn't disappoint right from the friendly initial greeting and personal service siting and connecting us to all the services using their kit if necessary. A lot of thought about personal space for all to make the most of our stay. Facilities were great and plentiful. Campsite shop was just the job for us. It was helpful to have bikes so we could connect to Interlaken more easily to make the best of all the things there are to do ,many of which were highlighted in the site information. Our only slight negative was that we didn't realise the earliest check out was 9:00am unless you say the night before. Having said that it was in the site rules and when we asked to go it our bill was sorted out pretty quickly. Would thoroughly recommend and stay again if we want to return again to the area.

Excellent site and owners

You could not ask for a better welcolme from the owners. Their assistance and advice from local travel to getting the best savings was invaluable and made our 5 nights in Switzerland amazing. I hope to visit again sometime. Would reccomend the hot-tub and be sure to sample some the beers on offer

Fantastic site

The welcome on this site is exceedingly warm. The owners are a mine of information concerning the surrounding area. The setting, surrounded by mountains, is superb and the site is spotless as are the facilities. This was our first visit but this site is now one of, if not our favourite sites.
