A brief stop but good impression

We used this Site for a 1 night break between the Ferry and our Brittany holiday. The impression was good. Bar and Food was available from very specific times ...... Had hoped for more flexibility. Kids would enjoy the Bouncy Castles and indoor Pool. A pleasant short stay, and would return for a longer stay.

A beautiful site.

The site is beautifully laid out. Our pitch was enormous, separated by hedges and with with water and drainage. The facilities are well-maintained. There is a small shop and a pleasant bar. WiFi is available but only in the area around the bar. There is plenty to do in the area. Granville is a short drive away and there a number of lovely beaches nearby. There are several way-marked paths accessible from the site, however you do need the IGN 1:25000 1215ET, Avranches Granville to make best use of them. All in all we had a great time here.

Pleasant site - a break from Ferry crossing on way south

We chose to break our journey to south Brittany and not travel too many hours from Cherbourg. Didn't seem much to do/ see in immediate surrounding area, but we didn't explore really. Shops etc were closed (late June) until allotted times at 6pm. Showers etc are multi-sex. Pitch etc was fine. Worked well as Overnight stop, but doubt it would suit us for longer than 1-2. As Motorhomers we are not able to tour around the local villages.
