We made a protracted 3 night stopover here in September 2018 en route from Santander to Benecassim, and is ideal both for a journey break and to learn about Rioja. A nice site close to the river and a shortish walk into a truly delightful town. Our pitch was a tight squeeze for the motorhome, but adequate. Sanitary facilities were spotlessly clean and regularly checked. The restaurant was acutely disappointing, but with the town on the doorstep with a great range of bars and restaurants, that was not a problem. Reception staff were charming, efficient and helpful (especially in helping with a medical issue). Supermarket nearby, and of course Bodegas all around. We very much like this site and town and intend to return.
