A good all round site. (I wish they would have separate areas for seasonal pitches and touring pitches in Spain) Haro, within walking distance, is an attractive town (and it has a Mercadona). The main Rioja Bodegas are also within walking distance from the site. The oldest (and best) Lopez de Heredia is worth a visit if you have time. Nice little site restaurant, limited chicken and chips type menu but good value and friendly staff. The bar sells basics like bread and milk. Sanitary blocks are OK and kept clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. Good base for exploring the Rioja region. Also of course as others have said Bilbao is just 'up the road'.
