We stayed here for 4 nights on the first leg of a month long tour of France, Germany and Switzerland. What a gem. The owners are so helpful and friendly. We had problems with our electric and between Red Pennant and the site owner it was resolved - our kettle was faulty and kept blowing the fuse. The bar and small cafe area was a great place to get together with other campers in the evening, it’s was a really friendly atmosphere. The lake and surrounding countryside is great for walking and cycling and it’s flat! We do fish but had no gear with us, so will be returning for a longer stay soon. I know lots use it as a one night on the route out or home but it really is worth a longer stay
