We used this site as a stopover for arrival from Santander and before travelling across Spain - this is not a convenient location for that (as we discovered) as you have to back-track to get back on the roads that take you away from that coast - no matter though because it is such a super find that we did not mind the extra time it took us. From the map it looks as though this can be accessed along the way as you leave the Santander area, but this is not actually the case. It is certainly worth a couple of days though (so not suitable for a one night stop) - the shower block was spectacular with mirrors and decorations - spotless too. As we arrived towards the evening, we heard a stream but did not find it (getting dark) - location superb with high hills to one side and farmland to the other. Pitches tight but the atmosphere is lovely at this site. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and the reception area gives you a really authentic Spanish feel - this was a lovely welcome. On the negative side, the electric has a lock on the door and this means that you need to arrange to be released in the morning - so no early get away. But I would certainly return if we wanted a few nights out in the middle of nowhere. Be aware that the site does not have a restaurant - just bar snacks - but a lovely bar area to sit in. I can definitely recommend if you want a site that is away from it all.
