One to keep in mind

We stayed at this site 13 years ago and the facilities have been greatly improved. Despite arriving during the lunch period, the owner interrupted her break and warmly greeted us as she booked us in, the friendliness continued throughout our stay. Only down side was the pitches are rather snug and it must be borne in mind that it is only 6amps, many fell foul of this. Overall we will stay here again, there are picturesque walks along the banks of the Sure to nearby towns. Ideal for dogs.

Great stopover to Germany

We used Gritt as a stopover on route to Germany. We have done so on many occasions. Good for cycling paths and perfectly situated for visits to Ettelbruck, Dietrich and Luxembourg. New toilet block is a great improvement.

OK for a overnight stop

Basic continental site, nothing to inspire, mix of nationals on site in mid summer. Plenty of space was quiet when we were there in mid July. Site closes 12 to 2pm but the Reception person was about and let us in saving a near 2 hour wait which was good. Small covered Swimming Pool

Site used for overnight stops

We used the site on out/inward bound on route to Austria. Access from site was easy & we used route to/from Belgium via Bastogne which took in wonderful Luxembourg scenery. Diesel at local station was very cheap in comparison over EU nations. Good English spoken & team of ladies running the site made you feel welcome. Internet & Dogs Free. Washrooms were fine. Menu although basic was nice. We liked it that much we are considering going back next year for a full stay

Great Vista

A wonderful site that offers a warm welcome. You can walk to the local supermarket (Lidl's) and into Ettlebruick 1.5km. If you want a larger hypermarket try Cactus in Ingledorf there's a coffee shop in the centre as well. The pitches are grass and toilets and shower block are clean with plenty of hot water on tap. We stayed for four nights and took advantage of the 4 euro day travel ticket (trains & buses included) to travel around the area. A nice relaxing site in Ingledorf with nice surrounding views..

10 out of 10

Spent a night here en route to Germany and was very pleasantly surprised with what we found. Access to the site is good, and the welcome was very pleasant. Washrooms were top class, some of the best we saw on our 5 week European trip, and the meal we had in the restaurant was extremely good value for money. View over the river was an added plus. All in all would happily return.

great little site

What a worderful site with a warm friendly atmosphere. I think it would definitely get 5 stars with the addition of a small shop selling the basic provisions, milk bread etc. Having said that Lidl's is only a 5 minute walk. The people on the site while we were there were mainly Dutch. The pitches were very large, with plenty of room for maneuvering and no hard & fast rules about position. The toilets and shower block were spotlessly clean. We were only here for 2 nights but will definitely  come back to stay a little longer.
