This site is in a stunning location and worth the 750 mile drive from the Belgian Coast. As others have said the facilities are very modern and spotless, the pitches are large and well spaced, but please bear in mind that our European friends pitch 'end to end' and not 'side by side'. This format actually gives you a decent sitting out and barbecue space which does not look directly into the caravan on either side of you. The surrounding countryside is breathtaking and there's loads to see, but when it rains - it rains! We visited in late June and the river was nearly bursting it's banks. The 'guestcard' you get when checking in gives discouts on many local attractions. Staff friendly and helpful, advising on local shopping, sightseeing, visiting Saltzberg etc.
