A highly recommended addition to the Club's European Sites Selection

We stayed on this site for 8 nights in April 2018 and found it ideal for exploring S Limburg. We recommend following the directions on the site’s own website, leaving the N278 in the village at the Mosaqua (swimming pool) sign and following Landsraderweg up to the site. But whichever route you follow, the last 3kms require care when towing as the lanes are all narrow and uphill. There is a reason why the site is called Panorama Camping! The English speaking reception staff are welcoming and a mine of local information. The site is laid out on a terraced hillside so do study the layout carefully before leaving reception as terraces are all dead ends, making for a difficult manoeuvre if you have to turn round, as we did! The special pitches are on a flat grassy terrace looking out over undulating countryside, quite unlike the other parts of the NL we have visited. The toilet blocks are modern and clean but given the terrain are either up or down serious flights of steps, which could be a problem for some members. The childrens’ play area and pool are at the top of the site next to the shop and bar/restaurant, so that the pitching area remains quiet. A network of walking and cycle routes are accessible directly from the site and there is a regular bus service to Maastricht and Aachen from the nearby village. This has an excellent Plus supermarket with free parking up to noon, and a swimming pool (guests get a free pass).
