Our final site for five nights in October and we had superb weather to compliment the views from our pitch of the South Limburg countryside. The other members review gives good advice about access and accessibility on site. The site is actually on top of a large flat plateau which overlooks the town of Gulpen and whilst there are many excellent paths down to the town, it is a steep climb back and that is not what you might expect from Holland.The toilet blocks are either small modern ones or a larger older building whch was fine and clean, but no sink plugs and both the ladies and the mens part link at the front so it easy to end up in the wrong side! The site restaurant is good although the menu choice a little restricted. If you have not been then a visit to nearby Valkenburg is highly recommended. Yes it is a bit commercialised but the centre, restaurants, castle and caves all make for a great day out. A different part of the Netherlands and easily accessible from the Channel ports.
