I have reported this site to Caravan Club This site was not ready to receive caravans We were booked to this site from 2 June 2019 for seven nights, we stopped for three. It’s a pity I can’t add photos I took and submitted to the Complaints Department Below I have listed some of the grievances about the site. 1. 200mt walk to reception leaving car and caravan unattended outside near a public road. 2. Pitches that were recommended were totally unacceptable overgrown with scrub. 3. Driving around site there were overhanging trees which hit the caravan. Which I had to reverse from into an overgrown pitch with felled trees. 4. There were no water points. I was shown the sanitary block but I refused to fill up from there eventually took me to the motor home point. 5. At the motor home point he showed me a 6" standpipe and said that was for the toilet chemical waste. 6. They eventually took us to another part of the sight where we found an acceptable pitch. But they had to come down and switch the electric on.
