The site is excellent, the touring caravan section is nestled amongst trees, shady but keeps you out of the hot sun. Facilities excellent, did not try the restaurant. The staff were very helpful. Could not ask for more. So much to do in the area, 5 days does not do it justice. Note that when you arrive you have to park outside the site to get the access code. The reception is a 3 min walk. Criticism, the directions to the site provided by the Caravan Club were poor, the site is located at the top of the town close near to l'Ermitage . Follow the signs to Font Romeu and when you descend having gone past the Calvary the caravan site is on your left just after the junction. Please note, the site is known locally as Huttopia, if you ask for camping Font Romeu you will get a blank look. Would we go back? Yes, so much yet to be explored.
