It depends what you are looking for
We were spoilt by the Huttopia site in Saumur (fabulous!) so this was a disappointment but not as bad as the reviews led us to believe. Staff were not as helpful and seemed genuinely shocked that I should expect water taps around the site (we were expected to use the washing taps! ).There is a service point but unlike the Spanish couple we were not shown how it worked although we did eventually manage to work it out ourselves. The facilities are clean but there are no loo seats and few separate washing cubicles. We had a very small pitch - people obviously like the seclusion of being surrounded by tall trees but we felt hemmed in. Some pitches were better for taller vehicles but we had one where we had to damage the trees. As they are keen for people to get back to nature (e.g. poor wifi - good if you are having a proper family holiday) we felt we didn't fit in with our motor home home-from-home comforts. But if you're wanting the great outdoors (the cycling is terrific) it would suit. The restaurant seemed good and they appeared to be baking their own croissants. The location is also good with a short, easy ride through the woods in to a very lovely town and a train line linking you to Paris.
