Arrived via the west side of the lake (no issues with a 7.4 metre caravan), although the road can be a little narrow in places. The site was easy to find, just off the main road. We arrived in July and the campsite is very full then with pitches very close together. At times driving around the site is tricky with not much room to manoeuvre (a couple of people had to move their cars when we passed through with the caravan on tow). The site is very pleasant with absolutely stunning views of the mountains surrounding it. The facilities are clean & well cared for, with a lovely pool if you fancy taking a dip. The pitches all have water for each caravan, but no drainage so you’ll need to use your waste tank. Electricity is a little tight at 6 amps, so we used gas for the fridge & hot water, even then it still tripped out occasionally. Easy access to the village of Sorico via the lakeside footpath. Further afield there is much to explore around the lake with Menaggio, Bellagio & Varenna being particularly picturesque. Ferries across the lake are frequent in the main areas. All in all a great campsite that I don’t hesitate in recommending.
