Safety

The site is clean and tidy with the pitches clearly designated. The showers were very clean and there was plenty of hot water. I only had to wait once for a shower and that was only a few minutes. The toilets were very clean and there was always toilet paper available.  There were limited items available in the shop and, in the heat, the very good super market was quite a walk away.  The pizza restaurant, was good even if a bit limited.  The only real concern I had was the total lack of safety in the pool. On one occasion the pool attendant spent the entire time I was there playing with two teenagers with a small rugby ball they were throwing in a 'goal' under the chair next to him and doing a running commentary as if it was really a game, totally ignoring the other users of the pool. We had been told no balls were allowed but this was clearly not the case. On another occasion the same teenagers ( a boy and a girl) came in and the boy very aggressively pushed his sister into the pool and when the female pool attendant came over to remonstrate he attempted to push her in the pool and after a bit of tomfoolery, he succeeded. Considering her job was too watch the pool this was clearly not safe and he really should have been banned but it was clear that these teens were well known to the pool attendants and they had no idea of discipline. If someone had been in difficulties I doubt very much if either of the pool attendants would have been able to see in time. I was also concerned how many youngsters were allowed in the pool when they clearly could not swim.
