Stayed between 24th and 29th July 2016. Upon arrival we thought we'd arrived at Butlins but with the Sun. The area around reception was hustle and bustle but we were 'processed' quickly and told to follow a girl on a bicycle. As we drove to the pitch we became aware of the vastness and number of people on the site. Our pitch was adjacent to the beach entrance/exit and whilst not having the benefit of shade, was exposed to a breeze that made the high temperature (it took a while to acclimatise) more bearable. The toilet block closest was immaculately kept by a team of cleaners and despite the number of pitches, always had showers available. The washing up and clothes washing sinks were numerous and useful. We really enjoyed the beach and did not use the pool at all but it seemed well kept with multiple activities taking place. The evening entertainment was very good and bar reasonably priced with attentive friendly bar staff. The site had its own well stocked supermarket which included a bakery and butchers. All in all an excellent site that is highly recommended. The only annoying aspect of the site was of a large (Dutch owned) motorhome that had its air conditioning on with the heiki roof vent open. Very close to Barcelona and we used the site organised excursion to visit. This was more informative than doing it ourselves. Also a visit to the ruins at Empuries is well worth it. Great for cycling and running. Some mosquito bites.
