Good for families

Well placed but busy site

We have just returned from two weeks on this site. We had visited Concarneau the previous year and would recommend this as a destination. It is only a 2 hour drive ( mainly motorway ) from Roscoff so if you have young children it is not a bad journey for them. The site has easy access for whatever outfit you have and I am always a little concerned with a nearly 8m twin axle! The staff are very friendly and speak good English if your French isn't much good. We were allocated a pitch at reception and given a site map, the pitch was easy to find and plenty big enough for the caravan, car, awning and children's play things. If you do have a large outfit a motor mover is a must as the road around the site is just wider than the caravan and everyone seems to block in their own pitch with windbreakers etc so you could not reverse the van in.We went in high season and the site was full. Our boys made friends with different nationality children and had a great time. It was a little noisy in the evenings but most nights it quietened down by 11.30pm. The site has easy access to a beach, the pool is great with two water slides, and the showers/toilets & washing up areas were clean. There is plenty to do in the area, a chateau locally & Quimper is the French equivalent to York. Food shopping - Leclerc is the local hypermarket but we found its food expensive although it's fuel was reasonable - Lidl is 2 miles away ( towards Tregunc ) with plenty of fresh croissants, pain au chocolate & bread. We noticed that the site emptied after the British August bank holiday Monday & I believe the European children go back to school then so the site was much quieter for our last few days there.

Hi we are looking at going here, but it isn't clear whether they have showers or not? Would you mind clarifying for us please?
