We arrived here and were greeted in a rather dated and dark reception by a receptionist who seemed a little confused by who we were. Another receptionist then took over and charged us 14.20 euros supposedly for taxes. When we questioned this we were given a rather vague answer about the environment and handed two purple bracelets, to be worn at all times. (We had been in France for 11 weeks at this point and never been charged this much for tax). We were told where to go which was a very dark pitch so we drove around to find somewhere a little more open and sunny. When we informed them we wanted to move they said we could be charged more if we had a larger pitch. At this point in time the site was not exactly full and the atmosphere was rather that of an old holiday camp with more rules and regulations than completely necessary. In fact the atmosphere of the whole site was rather strange and not what we expected from a '5 star site'. So after one night we moved to a wonderful site just outside St Malo run by the Yelloh Group and which turned out to be a lovely site to finish our 12 week tour of France in. To finish on a positive note the site did have indoor and outdoor pools for families.
