Good for families

Hugely disappointing

We stopped over 1 night on the way down in early August and 2 nights in early September on the way back. Unfortunately it was hugely disappointing and not the sort of site we are used to booking through the Club. On the plus side the pitches are large and each has its own water tap, but they are rather sloping. Several of the pitches were occupied with what were generally quite old and seemingly permanent caravans. The facilities were functional and reasonably clean, but not well let on the darker September evenings. The bar and brasserie were across the road on the sister site and we had a pleasant drink and meal there on our August stopover, but the brasserie was understandably closed in low season. There was a slightly uncomfortable feeling on the site with young men in cars backwards and forwards past our caravan on a regular basis. The Club really should review whether this is the sort of site it wishes to offer members.

Yet again complaints about sites booked through the club, these are being posted on an almost weekly basis. The answer is don't use  the club to book your sites expecting a superior  experiance. Don't book at all and if you don't like the look of a site or discover something about it you don't like during your stay just pay up and move, it's not necesary to put up with things one doesn't  like.
