Visited this site again

Visited this site quite a few times over the years and it never disappoints. Rural location which means use the how to get here information otherwise you could end up cruising the very narrow French roads in panic mode - however sister site is well signposted so if in doubt follow signs to that. Approach road is through a farmstead and up a fairly steep but not busy gravel 'road'. Reception is easy to spot and staff are very helpful and friendly - English is spoken very well. Pitches on site are of the sloping variety so make sure you have ramps for a level nights sleep. Toilets are always clean and not too far from any touring pitch and paper is provided - always a bonus in France! Road noise is as good as non-existant. Bread etc can be ordered for breakfast from reception if you wish. There are some seasonal pitches with caravans and sheds etc set up for the season - not a problem for us but bear in mind during the midweek it can give the impression of a ghost town which in our opinion is better than a noisy busy site. If you yearn for a relaxing site, nice and quiet with huge pitches then this is for you. If you want entertainment, take-always, 'club house' etc etc than you will not enjoy. For us, a great quiet spacious rural site in a good location for stop-overs. Really enjoy pitching up, getting out chairs, opening wine and reading a book in peace, quiet and (usually) sunshine. Enough said.
