Lovely site on a hill side with breath-taking views. Pitches with the best, unobstructed views are available but cost extra and some are only suitable for tents but if we go again we'd try and get one. Some view from every pitch. A fair few trees provide some shade but we could have done with more. All pitches grassy and well cut. Toilet facilities modern and clean with paper provided. However may be pushed in high season to cope. The touring part of the site is self contained. There is a significant number of rentals but they are all in their own areas(not mixed up with tourers like some site) The site has a super pool that again in low season was lovely but in high might be rather crowded. Lots of sun loungers, never an issue getting a couple in June. Water temperature pleasant. Its basically a family site but for families with primary age children. There is a very attractive play area at the pool, ideal for little ones, but I'd say anyone over 9 would find it rather tame. site has a quality laundry room. Bar/restaurant is ok but nothing special, largely like so many you get on sites everywhere. That was perhaps was the only slight negative. Beautiful site seeing excursions locally. Will try and go again at some point. Definitely book through CMHC as savings are great.
