This is a lovely site within easy reach of Saumur and its many attractions. We opted for a serviced pitch which was very large, private and with plenty of sun and shade. The waste outlets are a little high for caravans which meant that waste water didn't always drain away very well. The caravan next to us had to give up with their waste as the water didn't drain at all. The public areas are very good with a bar, small shop, ice cream, station and good takeway. We used the takeaway a couple of times as it was reasonable and the food simple but good. We didn't use the adjoining restaurant which seemed expensive compared to the many good restaurants in Saumur and surrounding villages. The pool area was lovely and the pool warm and welcoming. The covered pool was nice but could benefit from refurbishing. The shower toilet blocks were modern, heated with plenty of hot water and were generally clean although a little more attention to detail by the cleaners would have improved them even more. Would highly recommend this site which we would certainly visit again.
