Having booked using your European guide direct with the site as I could not get hold of your office due to Covid. We arrived in early July a few days before the Euro 21 final. We paid the balance of of our site fee for a Deluxe pitch with our own sanitary facilities and set off to find it. Immediately we noted the speed in which the French campers drove about the site and felt this was an accident waiting to happen, later proved correct when a French boy was knocked off his scooter by a silver pick up. Thankfully no broken bones just scratches. On to our pitch, on arriving at the location immediately we were disgusted as there was not a blade of grass or any hardcore stones on the whole pitch just soil and leaves lots of them. There was no real separation between pitches and the person next had a washing line draped over what would have been 'Our Pitch'. We returned to reception and asked for the return of our money as we would take our chances and find another site, this they refused to do. We then spent considerable time in locating another pitch as far away from the noise from the pool and with some form of covering on the ground. After finding one more suitable with lower amperage electricity than we required we pitched up and later in the week the site returned around £150 to our account, Thank you! As I said the site is great for families as it's a glorified 'Butlins' but no good for oldies, and as oldies what if you are caught short in the night and need a better loo than in you van, forget the site toilets as THEY CLOSE AT 11 pm!!!!! Would we return 'NO'
