My wife and I stopped off here for two nights on the way to the Dordogne and it was awful The staff were friendly enough but the other campers were not The site was really difficult to access and pitches are tiered needing levelling and most certainly movers We have a wide twin axle and I would say the site is not suitable for these big vans Even the access Road has cars parked both sides for the public Lake and we barely squeezed the van through the gap We used our own showers etc thankfully as the facilities looked really tired and quite grubby The site was very busy with mostly tents and it looked a bit of a shambles The site was very noisy especially in the evening and there was some kind of rave going on one night in the field opposite until 6 am ! The taps are situated in amongst other pitches and you feel like you are trespassing Some campers made you feel that way too All in all a dreadful experience we won’t be repeating .I think we are not alone in thinking the club should reconsider supporting this site
