Beach holiday without the usual beach site crush

After a year spent at home in 2014 it was great to return for our 2015 dose of beach and wonderful sea food. Le Logis has to have the biggest and most peaceful pitches this close to the coast, anywhere we have been - a cycle ride around the resort on the excellent cycle paths will take you past others that look like our idea of a nightmare holiday.  The restaurant menu was a little disappointing this year, but a tidy new toilet, shower and laundry block was a pleasant bonus since our last visit in 2013. This site has been on our itinerary for the last 10 years or more and it has never disappointed.  It is our perfect base for a relaxing beach holiday.

Our Annual Stay at Logis du Bruill 2015

This is a great site, with friendly owners and family members, great pitches and many British caravanner's who come each year and are very friendly, some facilities could be improved upon, whilst staying in June 2015 the Restaurant Bar needs a little improvement, in particular a better range of drinks, and the shop also needs a little more stock!!.  however plans for a new pool next year will see us back again next year. Great Site

Stayed here on the CC Atlantic Adventure in MY/June. Pitches are well spaced out with plenty of choice between shaded and sunny. The owners (Christian and Edit) are welcoming and very helpful with good English. Facilities are modern and clean. All in all a great base from which to explore the area

A Real Holiday

We have visited Royan several times but this is the first time on this site, and we will be going back!  It is very well run, very clean and the pitches are generous, with both some hedges and trees so there is shade if you need it.  What more than sitting under a shady tree on a very hot day with a gin and tonic!   I wish all caravan sites were so good, although we have very good memories of many sites throughout Europe who all have hedged pitches which give privacy and protect the wind.   It is a pity that this does not happen in the UK.

Excellent Tour

This was our second visit to the Atlantic Adventures Tour and was as good, if not better than last year. The Gagnard family and Christian especially make you feel very welcome and this year's itinerary was very enjoyable.Though I could have done without the snail tasting!! The rest of the tours, tastings and dining, both on site and in top restaurants were excellent. It is a testament to the Gagnard family that each year people return and it is wonderful to meet old friends and meet new. The site is beautifully maintained and the facilities provided are very good, clean and modern. The pitches are of a good size and easy to access. I would recommend this tour, which is being repeated in August/September this year. Give it a try.

Relaxing and Friendly

We have been to this site many times as we join the Club's Atlantic Adventures holiday there most years. This year being one of the best yet as Christian manages to find new and interesting excursions, restaurants and locations to visit each time we go.  We like the spacious pitches with an open aspect so you never feel short of space. The location being near Royan and its beaches, Zoo and countryside make it an ideal location for families young and old.
