We chose this site for it's location for the Tour de France so it covered that. It seems we are the first to review this site. Arrival and welcome - OK - you were given a pitch number, though talking to other CC arrivals you could change if not happy. The one we were given was very large, and did the job i don't think the pitches are checked after departure as there were very old water bottles scattered about! Some of the pitches were very small and very tight to get to. Showers modern, toilets in a different block behind the pot wash - be aware there are no hand washing facilities in the toilet block people were washing their hands in the pot wash sinks!! not great hygiene!! Swimming pool set up for families with slides etc but no shelter from the sun. There is a small bar and restaurant, the bar prices varied, a pint of lager/large rose wine 7 euros, but be aware the prices do change some nights it was 10 euros. A new block was in the process of being built, which is good as high season the facilities would be stretched. If you are a family you will probably be happy, we are not new to France, but would not return, on investigation there are better quality sites. Just had a look at the prices and it is not worth the £40.00+ that we are being charged at present, i know this is high season but this is too much. Carnac and the area is fabulous. We would return to the area but not this site, it seems to be run by students, stayed at many 4* French sites this does not warrant 4* in France sorry.
