On arrival our booking in was easy, and the staff very helpful and friendly. A pack of all the facilities was given to us, with opening times for the shop, restaurant and cafe. Our pitch was a large size and was perfect for our campervan with awning and a free-standing shelter. The toilet and shower facilities were spotlessly clean and perfectly adequate. Pool areas were amazing, and the kids thoroughly enjoyed the flumes. A lifeguard was on duty every day and they patrolled the pool areas. Although we didn't use the smaller children's pool area, it was well set out and secure. The on-site shop was well stocked and had fresh fruit and veg available, along with the usual bread/croissant orders taken for the following morning. We ate at the restaurant one night and had great service from the staff. Also used the takeaway too which was quick and value for money. Carantec was walking distance and was lovely, with little cake shops, and creperies. Our children did not use the kids' entertainment, but it was full of things to do and had a programme of all that was available. All in all the staff very very friendly and happy in their jobs, especially Camille, in the cafe who served us coffee with a beaming smile daily! Lovely campsite, and surrounding area.
