I booked this site online with the CAMC intending to stay at Les Portes En Re for 4 days in mid September 2021. On arrival we were allocated an EHU pitch. On closer inspection we found the site to be cramped, dark, gloomy and untidy. Approximately 50% of the pitches had permanent cabins or large tents. Our allocated pitch was cramped for a 7.5m caravan and had insufficient space for our awning. The overall impression was bad enough for us to abandon our booking and drive straight out without uncoupling. A short session on Google and a telephone call later and we were pitched on a huge sunny fully serviced pitch with beach access at the 2* Cote Sauvage 5km from Les Portes En Re for about the same price. Please note that Les Portes En Re refers to the town not the site - the site is called Camping Seasonova and signed as such.
