Visited this site 3 times now in the last 7 years for around 10 days each. A well maintained site with helpful staff. A lovely pool area with 3 pools (1 for paddling, 1 for just a relaxing sit down, and a family pool). Facilities cleaned early morning and mid to early afternoon. Pitches are of a good size and the Grand Pitches are massive, perfect to accommodate a caravan, full awning and small tent with space for an outside table and chairs. The river beach has pebbles, but is a joy to swim in, with shallow areas for younger children. Regular patrols around the site through the day and night by staff for the security and safety of all. The only down side in our opinion, is there is an on site bar with entertainment until around 11:30PM, but his may suit some people. The town of Millau is in a stunning location in the base of the Tarn Valley, the town itself is very nice and through the summer has an evening food market on a Monday night with food and gifts from the local area. The restaurant on site is OK but mainly burgers and pizzas, however within 400yds of the site is a nice restaurant, there are also good eateries in the town it self. Lots of things to do in the area too. Kayaks can be hired locally with transport provided, paragliding if your brave enough, and lots of other family activities. Just to the north west of the town there are some large lakes with sailing, paddle-boarding and sandy beaches The Mediterranean Sea and beautiful sandy beaches is only 1.5 hours away and is a great day out. This is our favourite holiday location, and though we like going to different places, every couple of years we seem to yearn to go back to Millau.
