Holiday on route stop

This is a lovely site, which we booked as we travelled between Santander and the Costa Del Sol. The site has good access and the staff are friendly. The grass pitches are level, and you have plenty of space with connection for waste and fresh water. The gem is the restaurant, which has fabulous views and whilst the menu is limited, it’s great food. The swimming pool is lovely with a small bar and life guard. The site is remote and whilst we didn’t travel to Madrid, we did explore some of the local villages. My only disappointment was we should have stayed longer than two nights.

Good pitstop friendly, clean and welcolming.

Great location to stop to/from North/South Spain. Showers very clean and hot. NB: Season end 15/09 - so if, like us, you arrive after this date, then the site only comes alive Friday - Sunday, when the locals set up camp for the weekend. The restaurant has a great panoramic view. Comfort site has water, drain and light on each pitch. The supermarket on site is limited, bread, frozen stuff and tins only. Nothing fresh. We stayed 2 nights and cycled Ruta 1-5 to Rascafria. Well worth the effort, with little stope for drinks and tapas. Finished with a dip in Lozoya lake. Superb!

Fabulous site

We stayed here in September 2016, just the two of us. Very quiet during the week, obviously busier towards the weekend as people turned with families. There was so much to do at this site in terms of sports and adventure. The actual site is slightly remote requiring a car to travel out but ideal for families. Very clean facilities and helpful staff. Would return if in the area again.

A breath of fresh air!

This is the first time we have ventured to a campsite abroad with our motorhome so we were a little nervous to say the least! This was lovely. The reception staff made us feel at home straight away and explained all the facilities in detail. The pitch was really large with everything you could need to hand and the views were breath taking. All very eco friendly and what a lovely change to see children actually playing together, climbing on the frames and swimming rather than all having their noses buried in their phones. Visit this site and it will restore your faith in family life!

3 night stay at the end of June 2016

What a fantastic site. worth a visit for the views alone. Staff are very friendly and helpful, pitches level and well kept, the bar and restaurant are to a good standard and the food is good. The toilets and showers are to a very good standard and kept clean. We went on a day trip to Madrid, drove to the subway station on the outskirts, free parking and 3 Euros to get to the centre. We found the weather in Madrid far to hot for sight seeing, I would recommend going in Spring or Autumn. Negatives with the site was that it is not advertised on the road, we drove past it and got stuck in a small village. The only other point is that if you are not good on your feet, the steep terrain may present a problem. As for my wife and myself, we would go back tomorrow and I have no hesitation in recommending it to others.

Wow, what a view!

There can be few site anywhere with views like this. All facilities including the shop and restaurant were spot on. We did visit Madrid using a very good bus service although we did stay over travelling back next day. The drive up to the site is quite steep (the site is on a hillside) however the pitches were flat. Perfect for a stopover (only 15mins from the motorway) or a longer stay.

Good site - very happy to come again

A good stop-over on the way to southern Spain. Good pitches, friendly and helpful staff. A nice village (with a couple of bars and a small supermarket) is only 2km walk away - or a 5 minute drive). Also a small shop on site with most of what you need. Will definitely call-in again if I am passing.

Wonderful views

A good stop-over on the way down through Spain to Marbella. We stayed 3 nights and it is very peaceful with wonderful views. Good sized pitches, excellent atmosphere and friendly staff. The facilities are very good, especially if you have a serviced pitch. Will definitely be staying again
