Arrived about 11.30am booked in without any problem.spaces are about big enough for a Motorhome and small awning. Facilities are functional and clean. We travelled in April and so not really the warmest of weather Rather surprised to find the facilities a bit basic. The block had men’s on in side and ladies on another. Toilets in a separated room from wash basin area. (Hair dryer in there) dish washing area in open air at the end of block also chemical toilet in this block too. Then the showers, there are 2 for each sex either side however only 1 on each side was available. The shower door leads directly to the outside with a 10 inch gap under the door that the cold whistles through. The shower is hot and functions well... one of the push button types. But none of the facilities are heated at all, guess it’s pointless if the elements are allowed under the 10inch gap. I learned to shower around lunchtime when it was warmer. The camp is lovely and The stunning scenery makes up for a chilly shower. Please don’t think this is negative I guess we get a bit spoiled in Uk at our camps sites. Couldn’t find a washing machine but didn’t ask either. Restaurant/bar was ok didn’t use shop. Town is lovely. All in all it’s a nice camp site right on the lake.
