Good for families

Great for families and beach but town disappointing

We visited in early July 2016. The facilities are good on the whole, especially the sports areas, but the site is very large and I think it should be emphasised in the Caravan Club literature that it is geared to families with children - I think we were practically the only couple there without children and it was pretty noisy up to midnight. The restaurant was really a fast-food style outlet and very noisy and the staff were somewhat vague about details such as where the Noja land train runs from and where we could get the bus. Noja itself is disappointing - unattractive and sprawling but it's worth taking the bus to Laredo which does have an interesting old town to visit. We managed to get a pitch on the edge, near the gate to the (wonderful) beach, which was a relief as we would not have enjoyed being stuck in the middle of such a huge site.
