Good for families

Ideal for D-Day beaches

Just returned from a weeks stay after taking my Grandson for a visit to all the invasion areas. This site is well located for such a visit, sited on the edge of ‘Gold’ beach, with all sites within easy reach. The best impression I have for the site is the friendly staff, were everything is done with a smile. There are some areas which are worth comment, such as the the mixed showers/WC facilities and yes the idea of a daily clean is a spray down with a hose. Yet, they do have toilet seats which are often missing on French sites. However, overall the site scores on the layout, the restaurant, but a word of warning if you pay for pitch facilities. The water was a hosepipe sticking vertically out of the ground with no connection that I have ever come across and that’s with me having a good selection. It’s only these points which prevent me giving 5 stars.
