Almeria Campsites (and Plastic Greenhouses)

Hi, Sept 2017. Didnt stop on site but did a drive in visit. No comment as to facilities. Approach from south is through plastic greenhouses and run down housing area. Bit of a walk to any shops. Not much on beach at this point as it is mid way between town centre marinas. Almeria region is totally blighted by the Plastic Greenhouse and their Horticulture. Have a read and view pictures on here :- https://www.ecowatch.com/europes-dirty-little-secret-moroccan-slaves-and-a-sea-of-plastic-1882131257.html Dry region, plenty of sunny days. We would consider shorter stay in this region only but you may like it. Seemingly by choice Motorhomes in large numbers were using the parking zones on the Beach front to the very south of Roquetas de Mar in the upmarket holiday area.adjacent to the beach and dunes of the coastal the strip of national park. Google search the area carefully beforehand.

Comment from the Site:

The Almeria region is renowned for its plastic greenhouses which grow fresh fruit and vegetables which can be seen on the way to the campsite.
