5 night stay September

Stayed here for 5 nights second week of September-2 adults no children. Site was easy to find, well equipped and well placed for visiting the surrounding area. We particularly enjoyed the swimming pool area which we believe had been renovated this year. Bar, restaurant and shop were all good as were the other facilities. The historic St Emilion is a half hour walk on a back road through vineyards and is well worth the effort. It is very popular with many different nationalities present and there is a host of wine outlets as well as other shops and restaurants to choose from. We also visited Bordeaux (tip if you want to use the park and ride tram system you need to get to the car park early). Bordeaux again is well worth the visit and is quite a contrast as a big city compared to St Emilion. Staff at campsite friendly and very helpful. As we had passed high season entertainment was reduced but we enjoyed the free wine tasting from a local chateau by the lake on the Friday evening. All in all a good site and worth a visit.
