Efficient and friendly staff.  Place is kept spotless, even saw staff sweeping the road.  We were given a brilliant free 1 hour boat ride along the river (limited places, so it might be that we were there at the right time).  River is fun to swim in and to watch people using the flow to float downriver (don't know how they got back!). Solothurn is pretty, good to mooch around and enjoy ice cream.  Easy cycling and we cycled to station for a day in Bern.  Definitely recommend this site.  Lovely views around.  It's a bustling, lively site but in a good way - the restaurant next to the river is lit up in the evening and adds to the atmosphere. Stayed 3 nights and would definitely go again.
