This site is in the lovely village of Bruck.  Train station in village which we took to the city of Salzburg.  There's plenty to see and do and the facilities are great for the family, particularly the lake.  Small outdoor pool. Site always full and felt overrun but we did stay in July.  Pitch sizes are OK but the brochure states up to 100sq m and I think that the appropriate part is 'up to'.  Some out of date food in the shop so be careful with dates.   Our experience was spoilt though by a bad experience with the campsite owner's dog, a very large German Shepherd which roams around the reception and is not kept on a lead.  We were standing outside reception with our own dog who was on his lead (a small Bichon Frise) when the dog run straight from reception and launched an attack trying to bite and scratch.  It was only stopped by my wife and I knocking the dog off.  It was a really terrifying experience for my 3 young kids as well as the dog.  I was asked to speak to the owner later that evening which I duly did.  He was unapologetic, extremely rude and was not accepting of my assertion that the dog should be kept on a lead.  As a dog lover myself I was merely concerned for safety. My point to him was that it could have caused some serious damage and who is to say that with so many young children around it may not turn on one of them never mind any other dogs.  I also suggested that if my dog was not on a lead and the attack was the other way round we would have been asked to leave the site.  With a shrug of the shoulders he said he would not be putting the dog on the lead and nothing would change. Unbelievable!
