Our main holiday was taken in Doussard Lake Annacy. We choose this site to break up the long drive back to Dunkirk. Staying three nights, It is a beautiful site in a lovely countryside setting. The facilities were possibly the best we'd come across during our holiday in France. The only downside was on crossing the bridge towards the nearby lakes we noticed a no dog allowed ruling. (We hadn't taken our dogs this time), It would have been a tremendous disappointment as the campsite allows dogs but where does one walk them? I'm sure there are alternative walks as its such a wonderful area to walk in. This site is great for families with lots to do on site and the surrounding lakeside setting, however I think families would need a car to venture out and about to get the best from the area.
