Seaview Berwick upon Tweed and Balbirnie

This story happened on: 09/10/2020

Having been shielding until July, my first trip this year was to Clumber Park. I usually go to Seaview several times a year as my daughter lives in Berwick, Once a year, Lorna and |I go on into Scotland. This year, having begun to think I wouldn't see her, she managed to get a week off in October so we decided to go to Balbirnie. Neither of us had been before and it was only a 2 hour drive away from Seaview, What a lovely peaceful site. We spent our time walking in the country park and visiting the village of Markinch. It was a relief to get away from all the worries of home life and relax. I then stayed over the weekend at Seaview. My dog loves Spittal beach and it is close enough to walk into Berwick for the shops. At bothe site the wardens were friendly and welcoming and facilities were always spotless.

It's good to read about people getting away this year, such different circumstances for all of us especially when trying to catch up with family members. Nice to hear you saw your daughter "Just me and the dog" mission accomplished for you both...and your dog got to Spittal Beach (ours liked it there too!) 🐕‍🦺 smile
