Not so much an adventure but a strange coincidence and a trip back in time. My late Nana and grandad took us everywhere in their tourer and we loved it. We now have a caravan and spent ten consecutive years holidaying in Newquay from the north west, we started with a small tent, three kids and one dog. We ended our ten years with a tourer, three kids , one friend and three dogs! Great times. I recently came upon my grandads bank book, in which is his payment to the caravan club in 1959, 2pounds 12shillings and sixpence. I asked my son to convert this in todays money and it comes to £55, He asked me how much it is now, £54!!! So everyone, the caravan club is extremely good value and never puts its prices up no more than a pound, even after 40 years. !
