A spot of Irish fun... St Paddy's weekend at Wrenbury

This story happened on: 16/03/2014

Another weekend and another great rally from theCheshireCentre.. This time we were joined by the sunshine for the weekend which made the weekend even more enjoyable.

Friday on arrival there was just enough time to grab a bite to eat before a social in the pavilion, billed as a dummy run for Saturday it was filled with the usual fun, drinks, snacks and of course some lively entertainment from the Rally officers. Including a quiz (Which our team won.. a most enjoyable chocolate cupcake filled with allsorts Yummy), a game of Irish bingo and a sing along.

Saturday was a free and easy day, we took the opportunity to take a strol along the canal and a ramble around the lovely countryside, returning in time to enjoy some food and a tipple or two then a nap before the evening entertainment.

Joining the rest of the ralliers on Saturday in the pavilion where we were treated to generous helpings of laughter courtesy of our entertainment crew (AKA rally officers) and a live band! (Also courtesy of some fellow ralliers). There was food provided and of course the St Patricks day fancy dress parade... Unfortunately our two girls were very tired (Having not partaken in the afternoon nap) and we had to leave before the night was done.

All in all a very enjoyable weekend again...

Thank you Cheshire Centre!
