Relaxing in the Country Park

This story happened on: 21/05/2014

Last weekend we attended another Cheshire Centre Rally, this one was billed as a free and easy, set in the grounds of Marbury Country Park in Cheshire.

We have attended this rally previously and had a good time so decided to come back again. The rally field is small but perfectly formed as they say, lined with trees so reasonably secluded from the rest of the park with a childrens play area just off to one side beyond the trees.

As I said this was billed as a free and easy so we had planned to use this as a base from which to enjoy a few country walks, perhaps do a bit of Geocaching. As you know the sun made a glorious appearance so out came the sun chairs and a tipple or two and what was planned to be a few country walks turned into a lot of relaxation, great company and we did manage to squeeze in a walk to the near by Anderton boat lift.

One of the Ralliers brought a plastic ground sheet and some washing up liquid, a great combination to create a slip mat for the children to play on..

All in all this was another great rally put on by the Cheshire Centre..

If you want to know more, have a look at the Face book page (Search for Caravan Club - Cheshire Centre) or the Twitter feed @Cheshire_Centre better still, come and join us on a rally field soon Cool
