Powertouch Mover fitting

This story happened on: 15/11/2014

We have just had a Powertouch mover fitted to our Elddis Explore 574. We chose Powertouch, after our girls did their own research into which company provided the most suitable product for us. Powertouch were recommended by Elddis and impressed the girls with their sales pitch at the NEC Motorhome and Caravan Show.
The day after our Powertouch mover was fitted, it was called into action as we had to fit the caravan onto a gravel drive between a motorhome and the house. It was one of those situations where reversing would not have been option (the drive led onto a main road with numerous parked cars stationed opposite) and pushing would have been impossible.
We have had a caravan for about six months now and didn't think we would need a caravan mover, preferring to use brute force and team work to wiggle the box into positions. A flat hard-standing pitch at a caravan site does not prove too difficult but as the winter months approach and we stay in certificated locations with muddy fields I'm sure we will get good use out of our new mover!

Just been staying on a wonderful CL site near Norwich. No hard-standing pitches and the grassy field got quite muddy in the recent wet weather. Very pleased that our Powertouch mover got us on to the pitch.
