Site 14 - York Beechwod Grange

York Beechwood Grange is situated on the north-east outskirts of York and is therefore a great spot for exploring York itself or the countryside north of the city. It is a large site and ideal for families. Whilst providing a network of pitches there is plenty of surrounding greenland: a play area and playground provide plenty of entertainment for children and alongside this is a large field for walking dogs. Neighbouring the site is a stud farm; this is important to note if you have dogs because they cannot be taken out of the site, along the entrance driveway.

Not far from the Caravan Club site, there are a range of supermarkets and a large retail park. There is also a Park and Ride service which allows regular and easy access into York. We made the most of this and spent a day in the historic city, using our Great Day Out vouchers to visit the York Chocolate Story as well as wander the medieval streets.
