#XploreMore 2014 - Task 9 - Bake and decorate caravan cupcakes

Yum Yum! What a nice challenge (if you can call it that!). We saved this one until the end so that we could make the cupcakes and take them to the Elddis party. We actually did two batches - one with Granny and one with Mummy. The first batch of cupcakes were decorated very creatively - caravans were carefully carved out of icing and then decorated in piping. The results were amazing! True caravan cupcakes! 

 

The second batch were chosen for flavour (Toffee - yum!)  - the girls baked the cakes in the Elddis oven and decorated them the morning of the party (always leaving things to the last minute!) The final results were presented in boxes and were to be given to individuals at the party as a celebratory thank you.

 

The girls love making cakes and have had great fun doing this challenge. Although tight for space, making cakes in a caravan is just as much fun as at home...and of course the caravan smells delicious!
