a week in windermeare

we have just returned from a week in our tourer caravan in bowness on windermeare, this has been our first full week away in our caravan. we booked via pitch up .com and were a bit aprehensive about it as it is a park resorts complex and we had been to other complex's and had bad expereance with crowd noise. on arrival at resort we were greated by friendly staff and given a pitch number to place in the window of our cravan. after finding our pitch wick was segregaterd by a six foot hedge and was a service pitch with all water, electric, and aireal, we were helped by a loverly man called colin, the site was very clean, well maintained and peeceful, the viewsd over the lakes was fantastic, £240 for the week for 3 addults and 2dog's worth every penny highly recomended,will defonatly go back and its a all year site
