Events and rallies

What’s happening about rallies?

All Divisions/Regions and Centres have been advised of the latest position on rallies. Rallies can go ahead provided that they meet strict Health & Safety protocols, including the requirement for COVID Secure procedures. Some rallies in England may be going ahead. Scottish Region have cancelled all their rallies until the end of 2020. Rallies in Wales are currently restricted to no more than 30 participants under government guidlines. This may change in the future. At this time you should check with your local Centre or Division/Region for further information.

Is CarFest still going ahead?

CarFest events in 2020 have been cancelled. The organisers will be in touch with those who purchased tickets, including camping.

Is BBC Countryfile Live still going ahead?

BBC Countryfile event at Great Windsor Park in August has been cancelled. The Club is working with the organisers on how refunds will take place and will be in contact with those who have bought tickets shortly.

Will the Warners outdoor shows still be going ahead?

Warners have all their 2020 shows in review. Please check their website for further information.


Will the Sites in Bloom award go ahead this year?

No, Sites in Bloom will not go ahead in 2020. It will be back in 2021.

What will happen to the awards the Club organises i.e Towcar of the Year, Motorhome and Campervan Design Awards, Caravan Design and Lightweight Leisure Trailer Awards and Certificated Location of the Year?

The Club's prestigious Towcar of the Year Award has unfortunately been cancelled for 2020. The Caravan Design and Lightweight Leisure Trailer Awards due to take place during the October NEC show has now been cancelled in line with closure of the show. CL of the Year is an online award due to be announced at the end of the year. We will inform members when any decisions are made.
