Why stay here ...

This very small, family-run campsite is set among olive trees high on a hill, and is perfect for a peaceful break. The enthusiastic owners ensure the facilities are well-kept and that guests have a relaxing stay.

There’s just 35 pitches set out on gravelled surfaces and guests can sit by the delightful pool set gardens. During the week you can visit the restaurant that has a rustic feel and serves traditional, homemade food. A complimentary welcome breakfast is served on the terrace from April to September.

Famed for its natural beauty, the area is popular with hikers, while excursions are available to olive oil producers and local wine makers. Córdoba is just a 40-minute drive away and well worth a visit, with its ancient architecture and a magnificent Roman bridge. You can also get a bus to Córdoba from just outside the entrance to the campsite.

Good stop for Córdoba.

La Campiña
Pleasant welcome at reception from the very friendly owner. Lovely swimming pool. Very clean facilities. Very nice value for money evening meal in the camp restaurant. Easy enough drive into Córdoba and good parking area recommended by the lady at reception. The only negative is the road noise but obviously that is nothing to do with the site.

Enjoyable stay

La Campiña
Spent a week on this site in the middle of March 2022. Great location surrounded by olive trees. Good walks and cycling from the site. Bus directly to Cordoba from outside the site. Owners and staff extremely helpful. Will definitely return when travelling through this part of Spain in the future

Stunning campsite

La Campiña
Stayed at this campsite for one night on way from El Rocio to Castillo de Banos. Lovely drive up to the campsite once we navigated Seville, which was extremely busy! Warm welcome again -the owner explained what was in the area etc. including dog walks through the olive groves (of which there were plenty). We stayed in December and the shower block was unisex, which was not a problem. The restaurant was closed at this time so cannot comment. The site was fairly quiet when we stayed, although can imagine it being quite tight in the summer months. We would certainly like to visit again in better weather.

Lovely small and friendly countryside site

La Campiña
This is our second stay here and think it’s a site with wonderful views and surroundings within easy reach of Córdoba. We enjoy the small site ambience and friendliness with a paella evening thrown in for good measure. The showers etc are very clean with hot water as needed. No complaints at all.

Disappointing and not really the site for us.

La Campiña
Our stay for two nights was mid October and compared to the previous reviews I'm afraid we were not impressed. Lukewarm welcome at reception, evening meal nice but limited in choice, no welcome breakfast as previous comments and to use the pool you have to make an extra payment ! Pitches are quite tight and you need to be very careful on overhanging branches etc, at this time of year there were only a few outfits on site but wouldn't like to be there when it's busy! There is also quite a bit of road noise especially early morning. The wash block has very small shower cubicles with one hook and a very small shelf, no dry area you have to step out for that, saving grace the water is hot! The highlight for us was the bus stop at the entrance for an easy journey into Córdoba which is a stunning city with lots of history and fascinating architecture, a must see!
