Our award winning CL is on a small farm, in a rural and peaceful location, 8 miles south from the beautiful and medieval City of York. The CL site has 5 double electric hook up points, so you aren’t limited to where you want to set up. The site is set in a spacious grassed area with level pitches, electric hook ups and a luxury heated log cabin which contains 2 toilets, wash basins and shower. In the Spring you can enjoy watching the lambs exploring and playing in the fields.
We are within a 2 minute drive of Skipwith Common for walking, bird watching and exploring the Nature Reserve along the waymarked trails. You can also follow a route across the countryside to Skipwith and perhaps dine in the Drovers Arms (please check their opening days/times). Coarse fishing within 0.25 mile, golf 4 miles. We are ideally located for many of York's attractions, shopping outlets (including park & ride), in and around the city (note that we are not on a bus route). As this is a working farm children are welcome as long as they are accompanied at all times. Please keep your dog/s on a lead at all times.

- Open all year round (good draining sandy land for the winter months and 3 hard standing pitches)
- Price includes 2 adults, 1 vehicle, awning and dog
- Park and ride within 7 miles along with York Designer Outlet with undercover shopping for rainy days
- Wi-Fi (free) but please note that this may be intermittent, especially on occasions of high demand.
- 16amp Metered Electric Hook Up (please use low wattage items) - due the price rises we feel that using meters is the fairest way forwards for our CL to continue
- 3 hard standing pitches for caravans or motorhomes (up to 9m) – please ensure you select a hard standing pitch when you book (subject to availability)
- 10 minute drive to an off road cycle track with food and drink along the route
- Due to the rural location the mobile phone signal maybe poor and O2 is the strongest
- Well behaved dogs welcome (to be kept on a lead) no more than 2 dogs per pitch
- Dog exercise area
- Countryside walk to Skipwith Common or the Drovers Arms (approximately 3km)

A perfect CL in every aspect. Well kept facilities and your made to feel most welcome
Lovely little CL
Field House Farm
Booked last minute for 1 night on hard standing pitch, quiet rural setting with great walks though nearby woods, perfect for our little dog. Clean and spacious little toilet block with very clean and hot shower (20p per min) could happily have stayed longer, will definitely book again!
Super little CL
Field House Farm
We have stayed 3 nights, lovely location between York and Selby. Nice clean heated shower and toilets,20p a minute but you lose 40 seconds while water heating, so 3 minutes for a shower.
Electricity is metered at 34p which was not reduced after July decrease in rates, but not extortionate.
6 miles from Designer shopping and park and ride into York, plenty of motorhome parking at rear.
Will certainly use again when visiting N Yorkshire.

Amazing site I should keep this a secret!
Field House Farm
We had a five night stay at Field House Farm and could not have wished for any better. Wendy is the commensurate host and makes you feel welcome from the moment of arrival. All the facilities are immaculate, Wendy works hard to keep a high standard. An awful lot of CAMC sites could learn a lot from here. There was plenty of useful information available and it was nice to find a CL with two toilets. What an amazing stay and although I would like to keep this CL quiet and to myself that would be unfair to Wendy as this is a real gem in the Yorkshire countryside. We will be back for sure.

Your site is a credit to you set in such a beautiful and tranquil location.Your shower/ information facilities were immaculate and one of the best we have used.
Fresh eggs daily complemented our stay a big thank you from Daisy our Cocker Spaniel for her great dog run. A safe and secure area suitable for plenty of ball games..
We will be back next year without a doubt
